Somatic Voice Work

“Livia has a great diversity of tools to offer, and has helped in so many domains of my life. The voice work I am doing with her is making real difference in being able to get back to singing with confidence and trust, having struggled with MTD for a year or so. Would recommend Livia in particular to anyone who has been dealing with voice issues (MTD, LPR, any kind of tension/loss of confidence in the voice), as she has been through a similar journey and can help guide you back to health.”

Livia’s voice sessions take a systemic approach, recognising that vocal health and expression are deeply connected to the body, mind and soul. Rather than focusing on technique alone, this work integrates vocal training with somatic awareness, creating a space where the voice can develop in an authentic, sustainable, and embodied way.

Sessions support both technical skill and emotional expression, helping you build range, stamina, confidence, and vocal freedom while protecting the voice from strain. Alongside essential techniques such as breath support, resonance, and vocal coordination, there is a strong focus on releasing tension in the jaw, neck, and body to prevent or treat muscle tension dysphonia or strain.
Through somatic voice work, you are guided to connect with the body and explore your voice as a bridge between sensation, emotion, and awareness. This process can help release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect you with your authentic voice.
Whether you follow professional goals, or want to support your personal journey with more confident expression, these sessions offer a supportive space to explore your voice, develop your unique sound, and reconnect with the joy of using it.
