Livia Kojo Alour

Family Constellation Therapy | Past Life Regression | Inner Child Work | Womb Healing | Sound Healing & Somatic Voice Specialist

Hello, my name is Livia!

I’m a certified Family Constellation and Past Life Regression therapist, Yoga teacher, sound healer, published author and multi award-winning artist with over two decades of experience across creative and healing fields. My work blends ancient wisdom with lived experience and contemporary knowledge. I’m offering trauma-informed, heart-centred spaces for healing and transformation through systemic embodied practices.

My life has been a whirlwind and not always easy. My parents wished for me to become an artist. I underwent intensive music and dance training at a young age. But unfortunately I lost my family in 1993 at the early age of 17 and spiralled into addiction. A battle I fought for almost 20 years. My early healing journey took me to Thailand where I fell in love with yoga. I studied Ashtanga yoga, started teaching and became a Reiki Master. This led me to India and Sri Lanka in the early 2000s.

After five years of teaching I decided to go into rehab and face my problems head on. Against all odds, I could finally declare myself healed from addiction in 2010. The same year I entered the world of circus performance. I trained as a professional sword swallower, one of the few women globally in this field, and performed internationally for over a decade. World wide from Las Vegas to Tokyo. My work received international recognition. I spoke on Ted X, my swords were exhibited all over Europe, I published a poetry collection, created theatre work and began formal vocal training in lockdown. I performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra as and toured internationally with the poet Anne Clark and released my debut EP in 2025.

But the demands of long-term training and performance led me through burnout, serious injury, and menopause. I was suffering anxiety due to dangerous nature of my work and my unhealthy past. My nervous system had never experienced calm. I had to retire on the pinnacle of my career after suffering a public break down in New York.

While traditional therapy like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy played an important role, my most profound healing came through holistic practices especially Sound Healing, Yoga Nidra and Past Life Regression. These experiences shaped my calling to support others on their journey.

My healing work is rooted in somatic voice guidance, sound healing, and the therapeutic modalities listed. I hold space with care and integrity, supporting processes of restoration, transformation, and reconnection.

I foster a deeply spiritual intuitive connection to my ancestors and through my work I receive clear guidance. I am committed to serving the queer community and people of colour first, and I make a conscious effort to cultivate a practice that is inclusive, diverse, and welcoming.

How I Work – Ethical Framework

My work is guided by the principles of respect, integrity, compassion and confidentiality. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where clients can explore personal, relational and ancestral themes with dignity and care.

As a Family Constellations Facilitator and Therapist, I honour each person’s autonomy and right to self-determination. All sessions are conducted in confidence, and information shared during our work together will not be disclosed to third parties without the client’s consent, except where required by law or where there is a serious risk of harm.

I recognise that Family Constellations, Past Life Regression and Somatic Voice Work are powerful experiential modalities that supports insight into family, systemic and ancestral patterns. Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and actions, and I encourage each person to engage with the work at a pace that feels appropriate for them.

I am committed to ongoing professional development, supervision and reflective practice to ensure that I work with professionalism, humility and respect for the individuals, families and systems I serve.

This gives you a clear ethical basis for maintaining confidentiality if a parent, partner, spouse or other family member requests information about an adult client. In fact, maintaining that boundary is generally considered good professional practice.
